The Health Education Link Service (HELS) has been working in schools since 1998.  We work in primary, secondary and special schools, as well as Pupil Referral Units, supporting them with the delivery of all aspects of Personal and Social Health Education (including Sex and Relationships Education, Drug Education, Emotional Health and Wellbeing and Healthy Lifestyles).

Our highly skilled team have teaching, nursing and counselling qualifications and provide a professional, valuable and bespoke service.  Schools’ needs are prioritised after a brief needs’ assessment with staff.  As contact increases, the HELS adviser becomes a key member of the school team, consulting widely and developing strong relationships and an intimate knowledge of the school and its needs.
